Berlin is not laid out like an American city. There is no single downtown. The government quarter, the big museums and the grand hotels sit in Mitte, but the restaurants, bars and galleries most visitors come for are spread across Friedrichshain-Kreuzberg, Prenzlauer Berg, Neukölln and Schöneberg, all of them a short ride apart. Almost every address on this page is within a few minutes of a U-Bahn stop (the subway) or an S-Bahn stop (the above-ground commuter rail), and both run on the same ticket.

Every rate on this site is the lowest nightly starting price we track for that property, quoted in euros. We do not convert them to dollars, because any figure we printed would be stale by the time you booked.
